For Vietnamese citizens, a visa is mandatory when entering India. In recent years, you only need to apply for an e-visa on the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of India - the process is very simple.
To apply for an e-visa, you need to access the official website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of India: https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/
Once you enter the website, follow these steps:
Look for the application link on the website and click to proceed with the application.
Choose the type of e-visa you need. For tourists, you would typically select "Tourist visa" which allows you to stay for 60 days.
Provide your personal details including full name, date of birth, passport number, and other required information.
You will need to upload:
The e-visa fee can be paid online using a credit card or debit card. The cost varies depending on the validity period you choose.
Review all your information carefully before submitting. Once submitted, you will receive a reference number for tracking your application.
The e-visa is typically processed within 3-5 business days. You will receive your e-visa via email. Print a copy to present at the airport upon arrival in India.
