In this month’s Nếp Mới, we journey across cultures to explore two of the world’s most inspiring and pioneering models of alternative urban education: the Shibuya University Network in Japan and the Udaipur Learning City initiative in India. Through the experiences of the Learning City movements in Japan and India, we will discover how cities can become spaces of inclusion, lifelong learning, and regeneration—places where education is woven into everyday life and where people cultivate a genuine sense of belonging to the communities they inhabit.

Tối ngày 26/5 vừa qua, buổi chia sẻ Vcil Members’ Talks #10: A random page - Một cuộc trò chuyện hiện sinh cùng Chân Đất đã diễn ra với khách mời là chị Vy & chị Hiệp (Chân đất Living Room) - thành viên của Cộng đồng Vcil. Hai chị đã chia sẻ về hành trình đi qua những đổ vỡ, những cuộc dịch chuyển cả về địa lý lẫn thế giới quan, và cách những trải nghiệm ấy dần dẫn họ đến với triết lý hiện sinh, tư tưởng phương Đông và việc hình thành một không gian Chân Đất Living Room tại Hội An.

Chị Phương đã chia sẻ hành trình lựa chọn unschool cho các con của mình, những kinh nghiệm thực tế khi áp dụng triết lý và cách tiếp cận này với 3 người con của mình. Đối với chị, con đường này không chỉ thay đổi cách nuôi dạy trẻ, mà còn thay đổi chính người làm cha mẹ.
Nếp Mới was the opening activity for the Localization Week "The Treasure of Our Own Locality." This is how Vcil Community and communities across Vietnam respond to World Localization Day. It is an annual event in which tens of thousands of people from more than 50 different countries take part each year—an occasion for individuals, teams, and communities to act together toward the local in many different ways: watching films, holding discussions, organizing community meals, planting forests, gardening, and more. These may be small actions, but they create moments of action that help build strong local economies.
