Welcome to Vcil Community. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Vcil.community website (the “Website”) and all member-only digital services (the “Member Platform”), together the “Services”. The Services are operated by Vcil Community (“Vcil”, “we”, “us”).
By accessing the Website or registering as a member, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Services.
To create a member account and access the Member Platform, you must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a legally binding agreement. By registering, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
To access the Member Platform you must register an account through our authentication system. You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to or use of your account.
Membership gives you access to the services available on the Member Platform. The specific services, features and tools available to members may change over time as we add, modify or discontinue features. We will make reasonable efforts to give notice of significant changes to the available services.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you breach these Terms, behave in a way that harms the community, or for any other reason we consider necessary. You may also request that your account be closed at any time by contacting us.
You retain ownership of any content you create and submit through the Member Platform (“Your Content”), including listings, descriptions, messages and profile information.
By posting Your Content, you grant Vcil Community a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, distribute and make Your Content available within the Services for the purpose of operating and improving the platform. This licence ends when you delete Your Content or close your account, except where Your Content has already been shared with, or relied upon by, other members (for example completed exchanges or fulfilled requests).
The Member Platform may include features such as a community marketplace, a shared resource library, a community points system and other services. For these features:
Your privacy matters to us. The collection, use and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Services, you consent to the data-handling practices described there. You have rights over your personal data, including the right to access, correct and delete your information — please see the Privacy Policy for details on how to exercise them.
We may amend these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify members through the platform. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms. If you do not agree with the amended Terms, you must stop using the Services.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Services at any time, with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to inform members before significant changes take effect. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension or discontinuation of the Services.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
