🎉 Format: Online via Zoom
Cooperatives – an important part of the collective economy – exist in nearly every country in the world, especially Vietnam. The collective economy is not merely numbers or economic indicators; it carries profound human values. With the goal not only of creating economic benefit, cooperatives also contribute to improving the social wellbeing of communities and building sustainability for each member.
A cooperative is an organization with legal status built by people who voluntarily join together, forming the foundation for cooperation and mutual support in production, business, and job creation. By participating in a cooperative, individuals not only have opportunities to improve living conditions but also benefit from the social values this model brings – from equality, self-governance, to mutual aid and solidarity.
In Vietnam, cooperatives have played and continue to play a significant role in building a shared economy, contributing to poverty reduction, job creation, and social stability. However, many people still lack understanding about the true nature and significance of cooperatives, often confusing them with other organizational forms.
In Nếp Mới #1, we will explore the cooperative model in Vietnam more deeply, understanding its history, development, and the values it carries. Through expert guidance and community dialogue, we will discover how cooperatives offer pathways toward building fairer, more sustainable economic systems that prioritize collective wellbeing.
