[South Korea] Scholarships to South Korea for Social Entrepreneurs and Community Workers
VCIL Community is pleased to offer scholarships for Vietnam-based social entrepreneurs and community workers to participate in our South Korea Learning Program.
Why South Korea?
South Korea's rapid social and economic transformation offers important lessons for developing countries. More importantly, Korean civil society and social movements provide inspiring examples of organizing, innovation, and commitment to social change.
Program Overview
Duration: 3 weeks (June 9-25, 2023)
Focus Areas:
- Social enterprises and sustainable business models
- Community organizing and social movements
- Environmental conservation and sustainable agriculture
- Alternative education approaches
- Building networks for regional change
Who Should Apply
- Social entrepreneurs with 2+ years of experience
- Community organizers and development workers
- NGO staff members
- Educators committed to alternative approaches
- Anyone working on social change in Vietnam
Scholarship Coverage
- Full Scholarship: Covers all program costs ($1,500 USD) including accommodation, meals, transportation within Korea, and activities
- Partial Scholarship (50%): VCIL pays 50% ($750), participant pays 50%
Application Requirements
1. Completed application form with basic information
2. Letter describing your work and why you want to learn from South Korea
3. Two reference letters from people who know your work
4. CV or resume showing your background

- Demonstrated leadership in your field
