In VCIL Travel School Singapore 2023, we will bring participants to Singapore to explore the country from a different perspective - behind the high-rise buildings and major economic projects, where marginalized workers, forgotten communities, and people facing difficult circumstances live, and areas affected by the lamination of sustainable development projects.
We will work with local people from different fields - activists, researchers, workers with no visible status, long-time street vendors, and people from migrant communities to together understand the reality behind the news, policies, and statistics.
Cost: $2,400 USD (travel + accommodation) + $400 USD (logistics)
Detailed itinerary will be sent after registration. Number of participants is limited; early registration is prioritized.
