☘️ PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:

Part of Module I - Understanding Yourself - of The Soil Project's alternative education initiative, this course provides individuals with methods for healing and inner consciousness transformation.

Our consciousness is innately composed of many different parts, and their characteristics shape who we truly are today. However, there are parts of ourselves that have been buried in oblivion, parts that were not accepted in our family, community, or even by ourselves. In this course, we will explore the different parts of ourselves, the dark and light aspects within each person, befriend and embrace them on the journey toward greater wholeness.

This course integrates knowledge from Shadow Work, Internal Family Systems, and practices of mindfulness and compassion while also incorporating learning through experiential activities ranging from silent contemplation, expression, movement to sound as ways to nurture deep healing and consciousness transformation.

☘️ Expected Outcomes:

1. Learn how to connect with yourself to heal personally and bring this into your daily life.
2. Understand development and pathology models.
3. Explore different parts of yourself related to the challenges in your life and transform them through compassion and mindfulness processes.
